In Rhode Island the primary hunting seasons typically run from the second Saturday in September to the last day of February and from the third Saturday in April to the last day in May, however this can vary from year to year and depends on what game is being hunted. During hunting season you should wear at least 200 square inches (a hat OR a vest) of blaze orange. During shotgun deer season, which is typically in December, you should wear at least 500 square inches of blaze orange (a hat AND a vest). For more information see the RI DEM website.
Located at the tip of Blackstone Boulevard near the Providence/Pawtucket line, Lippitt Memorial Park features paved walking paths, benches, play equipment for ages 2 and up, and a newly refurbished fountain (that was reportedly not turn on in 2022). Once part of Blackstone Boulevard and Swan Point Cemetery, the park was dedicated in 1938 to Alexander Lippitt, a First Lieutenant killed in WWI.
From May through October, the park hosts a Farmers Market every Saturday from 9am-1pm (as of 2022).

Dogs?

This list Lippitt Memorial Park as a no dogs allowed park. There is no signage up anywhere stating this, and I have never not seen dogs there, especially on farmer's market days, and I don't see any reason the park should ban dogs, except for maybe in the small playground area.
