This is a site for launching boats from trailers. Boat ramps can normally be used to launch canoes and kayaks but please do your best to keep the boat ramp clear for boat trailers.
Description & Overview:
This is a DEM fishing access site on Barber Pond. There is a gravel parking lot next to the pond and the natural gravel shoreline here can be used as a boat ramp or for launching hand-carried boats. Barber Pond is a 28 acre pond. Only non-motorized boats and boats with electric motors are permitted. This area stocked is stocked with trout several times throughout the year.

I was wondering if you new what skinner inhabits Barber Pond the most as I want to buy a lure to match the hatch.

Thank you for the clarification.I am happy that I somehow misunderstood the text and you let me know electric motors are allowed. I read it again and see that it is clear.I do not know how I did not comprehend it as I did today.I am looking forward to fishing opening day at Barber Pond. I can understand no internal combustion motors one because of the size of the pond and keeping the water quality cleaner for the trout,but as for electric they do not contribute pollution and do not move the boat at a high rate of speed and is large enough that a boater can benefit with an electric motor fishing shoreline or moving through the water quietly so as not to spook the trout. [MODERATORS NOTE: Boats powered by electric motors ARE allowed on Barber Pond. Our apologies if this was not clear from the description.]
